PERFECT FOR REUSING LEFTOVER CANDLE WAX!
If you are like me, you get annoyed with all the left over wax after burning a candle to the end of the wick. So much waste. I figured I could make a few extra candles by remelting the leftover wax and so after searching all over town for a wick kit to no avail, I thought check Amazon, they have practically everything. And sure enough, the Gelly candle wick and anchor kit was exactly what I was looking for. There is enough wick and anchors to make lots of candles. You have to be careful when melting the leftover wax, but I have a system down using my BernOMatic propane torch and a iron cup. Let the wax cool and then adjust the wick before it completely solidifys so it is centered. After burning about 3 candles, I take the leftover wax and make a new candle. It burns just as well as the brand new Yankee candles!

Just what the Christmas gift making project needed!
Our daughter made candles in decorative jelly jars for presents this year, and these wicks were just the ticket for helping a "newbie" candle maker a successful one.The wicks stood up straight while pouring the wax, no tying to a stick and later having to trim and clean-up paraphernalia from the project.If I were planning on making candles often, I'd probably purchase two packs - the shipping cost more than the wicks. The convenience, however, made up for the modest cost. I didn't have to drive her from craft store to craft store looking for items that were sold-out because of the closeness to the holidays! As a Mom, sometimes your time and gasoline are worth a lot more than an extra 25 cents a wick for your daughter's gifts. This was one of those times.The company had them here in record time too, despite the holiday rush. That kind of service was much appreciated. Thank you!

These were exactly what I needed
I save my old, used up candles scraps until I get enough to melt them down and remold them into new ones. These wicks were perfect. They stood up well in the container and didn't fall over when the hot wax was poured in. I would definitely order them again.

Spool Looks Different
The product is great but the company should label the spools they send. I was not sure if it actually contained 100 feet of braided wick since there was no label on the spool except a hand written "24 PLY" and the amount of wick was 1/2 the amount pictured in the spool. Also, the picture shows 2 spools, you will only get one.The sender did state that the spool did indeed contain 100 feet. Otherwise, the spool came very quickly but the s/h was expensive.

These are wick tabs that are best used with wick stickers & wicks. Make sure you have plyers to close them.Pre-measure & cut wicks, thread thorough the bottom, make sure none is hanging out the bottom so that it is flat.Sometimes wick tab is bent so it may need to be be flatten. Use wick stickers to fasten tab to jar make sure itis centered.

Good stuff
The quality appears to be the same as that I've seen in commercial candles. As another rater suggested, I would also recommend lightly squeezing the wick holder closed so the wick doesn't float out before the candle is set.One thing not mentioned in the product description, and not indicated by the picture, is that the product comes in a resealable pouch. That will make keeping track of these little buggers a great deal easier! Those cardboard sheets with a blister for the product make losing things so easy. I don't know about you but using all 150 wick holders at a single time is just not going to happen.

Okay tabs...
I've definitely had better when it comes to candle wick tabs but for the amount there are and the price you pay, they do get the job done. Definitely need to make sure the wick is in there tight before use.

Great Product!
Can't believe I ever made candles without this! I got one just to try out and I will be ordering more. Won't work for very large mouthed containers since it isn't that long, but works fine on most standard sizes. As for the reviewer who said that their wicks wouldn't fit the holes - what kind of super thick wicks were you trying to use? I use standard sizes from Amazon and they fit just fine with room to spare. And even with the extra room they still stay in place. This is a really cool product that you have to use to understand.

The candle wicks are just what I need for a DIY project I have planned, so that’s one less thing I need to buy new. Spring is when everyone starts sorting through their stuff and garage sales start popping up.
